BI Service Specialist

- Monitor the operation and processes of data ingestion into the Data Warehouse.
- Solve problems, resolve requests, and handle them in the IT support ticket system.
- Signal deviations, report disruptions, intervene, and solve identified issues in functionality, reliability, speed, and capacity.
- Perform basic platform and user administration.
- Maintain contact and collaboration with colleagues and business users.
- Test and implement new platform functionalities.
- Support DevOps processes and implement CI/CD pipelines (include Azure Data Factory pipelines)
- Create reports and implement changes to existing solutions using Power BI.
- Develop and optimize databases, including creating stored procedures and tables, executing ad hoc queries, and maintaining the database repository.

- Recent experience with SQL and SQL optimization techniques.
- General knowledge of ITIL processes and familiarity with stored procedures.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, particularly in pipeline creation and maintenance.
- Strong skills in database development, including stored procedures and table creation.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake is a plus.
- Familiarity with Python would be an advantage.
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of various data platforms and stored procedures
- Proficiency with SQL & SQL optimization techniques
- General knowledge of ITIL processes
- Experience with Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as part of the team
- Ability to work in a multicultural and international team
- Must be able to communicate clearly at a technical and end-user level
- English - fluent in speech and writing (the project is entirely conducted in English)
Nice to have:
- experience with Cloud technology (Azure, Databricks or Snowflake) and/or Azure Data Factory
- experience with Python
- knowledge of Data Warehouse/Data Lakehouse
