Cloud Engineer (Infrastructure)

Requirements description:
- Experience in on-premise infrastructure administration and (ideally) in cloud solutions
- Very good understanding of IT infrastructure area (e.g. Data Centers, network, SAN, Security)
- Knowledge of automation
- Monitoring and infrastructure managing tools
- Problem-solving skills
Qualities such as:
- Azure certifications related to infrastructure, DevOps, or data engineering
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
will be an added advantage.
- Tech stack:
Azure, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, DevOps, GitHub Actions, ARM, Terraform, IaC, CI/CD
- Nice to have:
Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, AWS, GCP, Bicep, Cloud Adoption Framework, SQL Server, Power BI, Machine learning
Your responsibilities:
- Design and deployment of cloud infrastructure
- Configuration and management of cloud resources such as virtual servers, databases, networks, containers, etc.
- Monitoring and scaling: tracking infrastructure performance, analyzing metrics and responding to load changes
- Securing cloud infrastructure: ensuring data and infrastructure security by implementing appropriate solutions such as - access control, data encryption, event auditing and certificate management.
- Automation and CI/CD: using tools and scripts to automate deployment processes and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Migration strategy planning: work on a strategy to move existing applications and services to the cloud or integrate with on-premises solutions.
- Cost optimization: Tracking and optimizing costs associated with cloud infrastructure
- Technical support and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Terraform or Bicep language for infrastructure code development
- Ability to use CI/CD solutions such as Azure DevOps Pipeline or GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of infrastructure: network, disaster recovery, and backup solutions
