Snowflake Engineer


We are looking for a Snowflake Engineer to join our team!

 As an Snowflake Engineer , you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining components of Global Data Platform.

The ideal candidate has Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses and is familiar with Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) for managing ELT workflows. Perfect candidate also has understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

  • Collaborate with the team to manage infrastructure on AWS.
  • Optimize resource allocation, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues related to compute and storage resources.
  • Version control for platform code using Git repositories.
  • Document existing and future solutions and dependencies.
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimize query performance within Snowflake.
  • Monitor and fine-tune ELT processes for efficiency.
  • Work closely with data engineers and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of repetitive demand.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD for platform components.
  • Continuously monitor and support features of Wherescape infrastructure landscape.
  • Design, develop, and maintain new ELT solutions like DBT.

  • Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) for managing ELT workflows.
  • Knowledge of AWS services (such as EC2, S3, Lambda) and infrastructure management.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
